Yes, BB was a lifesaver for me when I was in the worst of my withdrawals!

Hope you're having a great weekend!

Hi all,

I guess I'm doing well off the pills.

I do have a problem. I live in a very stressful situation.

I am unemployed.

No friends here.

I live with my 82 yr old mother. She needs daily assistance, which I provide.

She is supporting me financially.

I do not belong where I am living. This is where my clonazepam abuse took me.

I understand, I practice patience, but I need change.

I am stuck here in Massachusetts.

I want to get back to where I truly believe is home, Los Angeles.

Does anybody have a similar story?

Thank you all so much,

-Dan

HI,

I am not doing well today.

Feelings of hopelessness...

I have been through so much and survived.

I do not want life to be a series of catastrophes.

I feel as if most people get what they want out of living, but I do not.

Please, some words of encouragement.

Thanks,

-Dan

Hi Dan.  Would you believe me if I told you I often feel the same?  For example, I'm living outside of a small rural town in a state I hate. I've been begging my husband for years to move back to either the Pacific Northwest or my home state of Texas.

I know what it's like to feel hopeless and wonder why everyone else seems to get what they want out of life.  Benzo withdrawal symptoms tend to make those feelings even worse.

Have you been able to exercise again?  I find that it often helps me when I'm a bit blue and feeling discouraged.

We're here for you, Dan. Although we can't help with your circumstances, we can be here to let you know we care and send some hugs your way.

Thank you Missy,

Yes I manage to exercise everyday.

Yes you do understand. Los Angeles is where I have flourished in the past. I have friends there. I truly believe that I am a California.

I am in Massachusetts. My family lives here, but they have never been a supportive "tight" family. What's that adage about going to a dry well repeatedly  expecting to get water?

Once again, I do thank you for your response and empathy.

The prior 3 days were actually pretty good. Just not right now, not today.

-Dan
