Feel like I'm dying

Been having agonizing chest pain, burning, cramping on and off, that takes my breath and gets worse with movement, keep breaking out in a sweat. Have been to the hospital so many times and working with cardiologist. They aren't taking it seriously, I've been through benzo withdrawal before, too many times, but some of this does not feel like that. I can't tell if this is from the benzos/beta blockers I had taken or if the SVT issues are causing some of this too.

I mean, I'm getting trembling, inner vibration, muscle twitching, dp, dr, terror, hypnic jerks, sensations of falling, extreme vertigo, dizziness, intense nausea etc so I know some has to be from withdrawal.

I am so horrified and just not getting answers medically about the heart stuff, it is taking so long with covid, I am being sent to an electrophysiologist which is fine but these attacks I'm getting I feel like I am literally on the verge of death, intense arm pain, numbness, can't breathe, horrible chest/shoulder/neck burning and chest pain that is worse with movement, abdominal pain.

I'm also losing track of time, like I'll be looking at my phone, or something, and then have a black out type thing for a few seconds where it's like my brain shutoff, like I don't even have a recollection of vision during that moment. Has anyone experienced that? Wtf is going on :(

This is insane! I don't feel like I am going to come out alive on this one :( I'm terrified. :'(

I'm so sorry. Sounds your situation is comparable to mine.

What do you mean by covid takes so long? Are you infected?

Mine got insanely dangerous since I got covid.

Oh no, not infected, though it's very possible I have had it. I just mean getting any medical testing done with specialists/relaying messages is taking forever, it's like the health care sector has taken a massive slowdown in some ways because of the pandemic :(. I have been wondering if I did catch covid at some point though ;\

I can't stand this! Usually I can power through a lot of this, it's just too much

Losing time can be dissociation I have that too. Dissociation is DR DP...it gets blank to me. I am in a freeze state. Some lose vision and hearing during dissociation. I start to stare then it happens. I can lose time for hours a bad day. Also seizure can starr during dissociation. Dissociative seizures. My neurodoc say i have that.

Dissociative states cause from severe mental trauma or long episodes of stress. Not many know that DR DP is dissociation

I have these EXACT symptoms!!! It is unbearable.  How are you managing? I'm 5 years off and have these exact symptoms you have.  what have you found that works?

I also have a ton of vomit from adrenaline surges and that heart pounding too.  Do you have that?

I only sometimes get the heart pounding when my SVT goes off, I don't usually have it much anymore, definitely don't have anything I do to get through any symptoms except wait them out as best I can.

Sometimes I want to vomit when I get adrenaline surges too, but never fully do :(

It's so weird :(, I've had DR and DP before too but nothing like this, it's like for a period of time I never existed, consciousness was completely taken from me. Super scary :'(

Obviously, I'm not happy that so many of us are having a rough time but it is a relief to read that I'm not the only one. The dp/dr thing is what I'm most sick of. Somebody up there said it's like not existing and I felt that. I feel like I haven't been fully present for more than a few hours at a time (recently) in the last 7 months. Time gets super weird, sometimes it feels like a bunch of days just went by in a blur.

If you're on a beta blocker, that could be making things worse. I had an abnormal EEG at the tail end of my Atenolol taper and the neurologist said that the low HR and low BP that BP medication can cause sometimes results in insufficient blood to the brain. That could've been why my EEG was showing "epileptic waves". I won't know until I do my follow up EEG tomorrow.

I was like this with the heart real bad prior to covid

Covid caused some severe gi stuff though and it hung around and got worse the next couple months after. The crazy spells of high hr and weird stuff was a after quitting the benzo though.  Only thing I got after the vid was gi stuff and palpitations that went away

What symptoms did you have when you CT’d? I CT’d in 2015 unknowingly (before I knew you couldn’t or anything about this).

How are you now? I’m on 0.5 as well. Was on it 2-3 nights a week for a few years then in 2019 it was every other night. Suffering horrible interdose and withdrawal - mostly physical sxs

4 years, not amazing. Ha
