I am scheduled to have a skin cyst removed from my neck on Wedensday.

The nurse just called and told me they'd be giving me a "local anesthetic".

I'm suddenly worried now.

 

Anybody have experience with this or advice?

I have biopsies and minor surgeries regularly due to my fair complexion and have been doing so for years, including when I was recovering from my cold turkey, it didn't cause me any issues.  However, stress can ramp up symptoms so do your best to keep calm, a tough suggestion I know.
