Is this a rapid taper?

Is a 4 month taper off .5mg of k daily after being on it for 2 years considered a rapid taper?

Yes, that is a rapid taper. One of the moderators here,  Bob7 tapered off the same amount over about a year I believe. Also a personal friend of mine took 1.5 years to taper off .5 mg Klonopin. That being said, we all go as fast as is comfortable.

Thanks, well now I'm at 0.07 now every cut hurts... Should I updose or hold? I'm sleeping 4 to 5 hrs. So I guess I screwed up. On day one I cut my original dose in half.  Am I screwed or should I just hold?

If you’re still sleeping 4-5 hours, I would say hold your dose and let your brain catch up. I would try to avoid updosing.
