Anxiety high at night

Anyone else have high anxiety at night?  As soon as it gets dark I get scared. Anxiety this high is new to me with withdrawal. I do have OCD and have had situational anxiety but it’s like I’m living life with a bad anxiety disorder now. Does any one get higher anxiety at night?

In earlier stages of WD I used to get really bad anxiety in the dark--even if I simply closed my eyes briefly. Same with trying to go to sleep at night after I turned out all the lights. I thought I would see things in the room that were out to get me. It was like this really primal, ancient part of my brain suddenly became afraid of any kind of darkness and I would start to freak out. It went away after my first 12-16 months in WD but it was weird and concerning for sure (along with all the other symptoms).
