Librium withdrawl

I'm in the process of tapering off of Librium. I started with the fast taper from 30 down to 5 in 6 weeks and didn't go well. Doctor was pushing me.  I reinstated. This is been a tough process but my doctors on board with me being in control of tapper now

It is so nice to have you join our community.  That was quite a decrease in your Librium dose; no wonder it didn't go well!  I'm sure people do better if they have a say in their taper plan.  Yes, slow is much better ... not without it's challenges but better.  I don't know where you stand with a taper but I've given you a link to the Planning Your Withdrawl message board where you will find information about tapers:
