Thank you for posting this, Ajusta.  For a couple of years, my brother has been taking gabapentin for pain caused by spinal stenosis.  He's aware of the drug's hazards but ran out of options for pain control.  As its efficacy has waned, he was offered a choice between opioids and benzos.  When he rejected those, the doctor told him, "You've already signed the 'consent to treatment' form," as though that somehow obligates him to accept whatever treatment the doctor suggests.  Pffft.  For now, he's finding some relief in medical marijuana and acupuncture.

Diazepam worked for me for spinal probs was put on it for.

Shld not have tried to come off.

20 years on same low does, no updosing, no tolerance  either etc.

 

He could look into LDN if it is for pain.

Thank you Adjusta for keeping us updated with new info on benzos.  I sent it to my husband.  He finally read one.  Gives him a better perspective regarding what I'm dealing with.
