I am trying to taper off prescription Lorezapam and it is difficult - so reaching out to NA I was recommended Benzo Buddies - the very title brought tears.

Are you familiar with the ashtons manual, it’s a great resource about benzodiazepines. Here is a link to the manual: Professor Ashton Manual  Tapering slow is the best way to go. its recommended reducing between 5 - 10% every 10/14 days, many of us need to taper much slower, whatever feels comfortable.

Glad that you found us.  There is a lot of information and support here.

I too am tapering off Lorazepam. It is not an easy process for sure but there is lots of information and support here.  It helps just to know you are not alone.

I'm hoping that you will join us on the Tapering off of Ativan support group. It's a small group of very helpful encouraging people. Plenty of the members have been successful.
