Hey ladies, (sorry fellas it’s a female issue)

 

So I’m basically 41 yrs old and at the tail end of my taper. Things have been very rough the last few weeks mostly ovulation and menstrual issues. (Anxiety, restlessness, insomnia, crying spells and nausea) I had a uterine biopsy done because of the very painful mensus and heavy flow. (Sorry TMI) Well of course the biopsy came back normal but my gyn wants to try the Mirena IUD. I’ve had it before about 16 yrs ago and don’t remember any issues but I wasn’t going through w/d then.

Have any of you tried this or had it? What was your experience? It’s a progestin type IUD.
