:2funny: OK Linda, we are going to have to take a vote for the "REAL" best song EVER!!!!  I am going to stop one day and listen to all this music.  You need to have a contest!

TS, It's so hard! I have 20 or so top 5 songs!  :laugh:

That's fab, Tony. Hey, check out Jake on the ukelele. This was filmed at Strawberry Fields in Central Park. You'll need to watch it right to the end to fully appreciate this young man's talent. He makes the instrument sing.  Awesome!  :)

That's one of my favorite songs of all time. Brought a tear to my eye. Thanks for that.

My favorite happy and random music video. Must see... Coffee and TV by Blur. Its dancing milk cartons.. Really cheezy but it invokes an odd euphoria. :smitten:

I thought it would be fun to share our opinions on music.  Personally, music has helped me through some of the worst of times with this withdrawal.  I love music, it's one of the most important aspects of my life.

So here's what I'm listening to now;

Andrew Bird

Thanks for the link!  I also checked out an even older one in which I found out that eljay has great taste in music  :thumbsup:

I think musical taste tells so much about someone, so it's so fun to see what people listen to.

Too bad Charles isn't here anymore, he has awesome taste.  I think I know and love probably 70 - 80%  of the music he posted.

I love all genres (except country western) and all eras of music.  I just posted some of my newer finds since that's what I'm listening to currently.  Just name a song, and if I don't know it I've probably at least heard of it.  Joni Mitchell is probably my favorite all time artist.  She one of the most talented and profound poets and musicians I've ever heard.

The Earth song touched a very deep well of grief for me.  I'm pretty sure I've heard it before but had forgotten about it.  Almost nothing is more tragic to me than what has been done to this Earth.  Thanks for those songs.
