I saw a snippet of Leonard Cohen playing "Hallelujah" on the TV the other night.  It looked like he had the guitar playing on that?  It was a show remembering people who died this year.

yeah, we're going to talk tomorrow night. i'm gonna ask her if she needs a roomate or know's of anyone who needs a roomate. she said she loves musicians and i have my baby grand piano to lug around with me so i need to find either another musician to live with her someone who loves them.

yes i did. we spoke for over an hour. she said that yes he had been on that whole cocktail of drugs like the benzo's and some psyche meds but he had taken some pure morphine at midnight with his brother and was found the next morning dead. so i'm sure it was the morphine. even with that cocktail of meds, it always seems to be the opiates that arrest the breathing.
