"Same Auld Lang Syne" - Dan Fogelberg

 

Seven years ago today, the music word lost a great talent.    Dan Fogelberg's music will always stay in my heart and mind.

 

Playing this now, another one I haven't heard for a long time, it's bringing back that gush of memories.  Such a beautiful song! Thanks, Ins.  I didn't know he had passed away.

I'm ok, I just wish we would get some snow. I live in the midwest. Its raining today. I cant build a Rainman. If I could, I would take him to Vegas with me. You ever see that movie with Dustin Hoffman?

I live in snow country.  You're right, it is ever so quiet and peaceful.  Waking up to the sweet melodies of snow plows, snow blowers and ice scrapers, very, very soothing!  Oftentimes, the calming harmonies of emergency vehicle sirens, oh, makes me feel so very warm and fuzzy inside!
