So I was reflecting on the above quote and went to look up the author's intended meaning.

Seems there is a strong relationship between pain and great art.  I want to read further on this subject. 

Always curious, always searching, reading, pondering - one thing leads to another.

Have you ever started reading a book, and then purchased several more books because of topics mentioned in

the first book?  Sounds crazy.  That's how I ended up with more books than would fit on my book shelves.

Hi All,

I hope everyone slept well, and for those on the other side of the big pond, I hope you're having a lovely afternoon! Just had to thank abcd for the Vertigo Therapy Clinic cartoon. Since there's only one woman in the picture, I guess I'm the one in the purple dress with the purple heels, causing all the havoc. Uh-huh! Love it!

 

Also, I'm glad the Larson dog cartoon got everyone thinking. I'm sure we could do some psych analysis to figure out why someone scans the pictures before the words, and someone else does the reverse. Okay, maybe not. Let's just say everyone's brain is a little different. Looks like everyone ended up at the right place, though....laughter! Hope so. That was the point.

That's because this IS a picture of Meryl Streep.    This is a picture of her as Francesca in The Bridges of Madison County.  One of my favorite movies!  It was filmed near my home.  I put my real picture up for awhile, but then took it down because of Scott Gaulke's hate blog.  He was taking people's pictures from BB and putting them on his website.
