Here comes the haggis!!

 

OK - please tell me more about haggis.  Does it actually taste good?  I have this image of it being like the Norwegian lutefisk (which even my Norwegian friends say doesn't taste or smell very good).  Neither of these foods are available in the desert SW of the US, so I've never even seen or smelled them.

Here is some info about haggis.

 

It is usually quite spicy, often too much so for me. Depends on the exact recipe used.

 

The fact that it is made from offal puts me right off but just have to put that out of my mind.

 

Only have it very occasionally.  Many folk don't like it.

 

There is vegetarian haggis nowadays. No idea what is in it.

 

I prefer the desserts. ;D
