Honestly, I never really thought about this "other" aspect of "this", where the anxiety and other symptoms are being further pathologized, as the person tries to leave a chemical camp. Suddenly, there are all these people from the "mental illness" camp, coming forward and making sure we are taking our "medications". And I think Claire's audios are much better for me than reaching out to the "lets drug you some more" "mental illness" crowd. Sometimes, I have to reach out, but then, even with the help I get, the "pathologies" are being reinforced, and that is a crappy way to live

"Complete and utter acceptance/resignation.  Surrender!" - That was my mantra.

 

I do agree regarding the inadvertent reinforcing of the "pathologies", which is why I think this coaching style and no nonsense approach is so effective.
