Thank you Drew!!! Its been a tough ride, I know everything will be Ok. just all these doctors appointments can be daunting you know. The next specialist I have to see is the pulmonary doctor and then I get my annual MRI done in the beginning of March. Sigh...I'll be happy when my life and my health is back to normal.

Thank you KB and GMIT. much appreciated I will tell you this ninth month I started off rocky and the head / ear pressure, sound sensitivity, the rocky boat sensation have really been bothersome. I'm highly irritable because of it. I'm lashing out at people and that's not me. So just keep me in your prayers and I pray that as the month continues I will feel the symptoms fade away and maybe just maybe a couple of them will go away for good.

Hello all,

I'm 10 months today (or yesterday) benzo free. I had a real good month of January, a big heal and very mild symptoms. February, however as been difficult. I'm getting hit by head pressure, intense anxiety stuff all over again, reminds me of when I was in acute...awful! I'm having to keep near my "safe zone" today (bedroom), something that i haven't had to do in weeks. I am so tired of withdrawal, and it is so discouraging to have these sort of symptoms again...sigh! I know the drill, that yes, these symptoms will pass, but I just need to vent, and to vent to those who will know what I'm talking about.

I has been quiet here of late in this thread. I hope that it means that everyone is doing well and are able to get on with their lives. Peace and rapid healing to you all! -R.

Robert, I get it, I know what you are talking about. I am 10 months CT and , yep bad month for me, too. You get hopeful things are improving and then it kicks you in the butt again....

Cindy & Robert...not to worry!

A wave at ten months off is very common!! Cooperton, Healinghope, Peace, all experienced one then...and I'm thinking Sky, Green, & Nova all had one around that timeframe also (9-11 months ish). It was a tough one for them, BUT it didn't last too Kong (2-5 weeks) AND it left a MUCH improved baseline :) I'm pretty sure that most of them called it a "corner turned" :)

Hooray!! You are on your way!! :) Jus' think -- a corner turned next month! Perfect start to springtime, I'd say ;)

Oh, DREW!!!

Me & Mr went on a night hike last night. Ended up being more like a night "sludge" -- we had to hike through about a foot of snow most of the way! I'm a sit-behind-a-desk girl for 8 hours per day, so it was a big workout for me! My heartrate was high the whole time as such (and I'm more *mindful* of that then prior to benzos), but I thought if you running two miles this week and was like, I can do this too!

And I did it :)

Just wanted you to know!

We sound alike...7 months off was a really good month! 8 months off started really good but as I crept into 9 (and now I'm 9 months off) I'm getting slammed  :'(

Mrs. nailed it...quite a few get hit with these big waves between 9-11 or even 12. In month 7 off I felt like I turned a corner and my baseline improved, now I feel crazy!  :tickedoff:

We WILL get through it!  :smitten:

Thanks everyone...

I read the posts in the 12-18 month thread just as much as I read the one here and have a sense of what to expect...waves, but a lot of big healing too.

This wave seems to be especially hard mentally, it does feel like insanity (which rev's  up the adrenaline, which rev's up the "crazy, and the adrenaline again, etc...) I too try to remind myself that at the end of a big wave comes big healing in the baseline. It is still real hard!

Hey guys, I was doing better back in months 8 and 9 even traveled with my Wife to her family's house in Kansas over 1,200 miles away from Maryland, and now in month 10 got slammed with a major wave of anxiety, agoraphobia, muscle spasms, eye twitches and dizziness. I am holding on I guess I am one of those who got hit with a wave in the 9-12 month period. I guess from what Ive read it is common to get slammed again around this time???

Blubyu, unfortunately a 9-11 month wave isn't uncommon around that time. Take heart - it will pass again soon :)

Kudos to you on your travel! Wow!

LovingMother and Mrs. slaw, thank you guys for the encouragement it is good to know we are fighting this together and not alone! It can't be coincidence  that so many people get hit with a major wave in the 9-12 mo time slot! We are fighters and we will make it to that peaceful valley soon where s/x are gone entirely! :smitten:

it's no coincidence indeed so many of us gets slammed the same time. But I'm just looking forward to the other end of the tunnel despite how I feel the light is getting brighter. My doctor told me to look at it this way. He said once upon a time ago I had so many symptoms between Lyme disease & withdrawal that I could not tell you what was bothering me because I was so much was going on. He said the fact that you can pinpoint what is bothering you shows that you are healing. And that the symptoms are lessening and they will eventually go away. This is from my kinesiologist. And bluby you thank you for being encouraging as well the fact that you were able to travel let me know that eventually in the not so far off future maybe I too can travel once I get a couple more symptoms under my belt. Let's keep fighting the good fight and keep putting one foot in front of the other no matter how hard it is. Praying for each of you today and always.

I'm really happy for you Wonder! I've been in a wave plus a severe cold. Today I woke up with heart palps and shortness of breath :-(

My doctor wants me to see a pulmonary doctor. I told her just prescribe some oxygen for me and she won't.

Pray, pray, pray...

Have a good day Wonder and everyone else.

LM-You had so many tests :-\  The breathing stuff is so common for us.  I often have trouble taking a deep breath, feels like a belt is around my rib cage, adn get pains all the time.  Add in out of breath and dizziness it's amazing we are alive. :D    You can see the dr. but we are 99.9% sure it's withdrawal :smitten:
