Does anybody think  Lou Gramm's voice is supreme? 

 

The new foreigner front man Kelly Hansen just can't pull off the old song's like Lou could.

 

I hate it when old bands break up  :'(

 

That's funny Birdie. Tonight I was listening to a foreigner song and thinking how unique his voice was. 

 

Loved Gramm's voice, I'm from Rochester, NY and saw them do Juke Box Hero in the War Memorial which was about the War Memorial - good times, music helps us remember good/better times!

The Gaslamp Killer is a dj that plays psychedelic experimental and underground hip hop. When he's mixing he'll go from insanity, to bliss, and then to a smooth drum and bass all with ease and expertise. He is with Flying Lotus' label so has that artistic breaking boundaries feel to it. His heritage has an interesting mix: Jewish, Lebanese, Turkish, Mexican as well as others which leads to some interesting pieces. It could be hit or miss type music.

 

By far his most famous dj set was with Boiler Room musical platform in London. The BRoom is a creative music project that showcases new underground music. The shows are in private locations and are invite only. The project blew up since its beginnings and now has over 35 new shows every month across 50 cities across the world. The lineup of artists who have played is pretty impressive some being: Thom Yorke, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, my man Flying Lotus, James Blake and Jamie XX, who are all huge in their own right.

 

Back to The Gaslamp Kiler, or William Bensussen. Not only is he a great producer and dj, but it sounds odd, but beautiful to watch behind the turntables. He's kinda quirky but really has his soul in the music he plays, especially as he says the "new shit from..." or his own shit. Give it a listen. Its a nice :50 min long. Great for making that time keep its fast pace of flashing by during recovery.
