want to get lasik eye surgery

Has anyone here gotten it? the fact that im on benzo withdrawal dosent exclude me right?

I had LASIK prebenzo.  If I were you I would wait.  Benzo withdrawal can affect pupil size.  If you have LASIK now and your pupil size is changing, this could result in an over correction or under correction.  I personally would not do it until your are absolutely sure you're 100% healed.

I know I want it too.  I can't afford it and insurance doesn't cover it.

I had it done, and guess what they give you to relax before the surgery??...... Valium. If I were you I would wait until I was healed, then you would need to discuss alternate meds for the surgery. I will say I have perfect vision and would recommend the surgery, but not while in w/d.
