Yes she's so cool. I love that song and also the doc. I recall watching on TV a vid of this song. There was a coyote chasing a rabbit in deep snow. I thought it was going to catch that rabbit but it kept missing until it disappeared into the snow. I was so happy! Did you know that song was written about her relationship with Sam Shepard?

According to her latest bio, she wrote Coyote and other tunes in a van participating in Bob Dylan's Thunder Review. She said she was addicted to coke for most of the mid to late '70s when she wrote them. She left after two months because she hated Joan Baez. She was the only one who didn't snort coke. Or take other drugs.
