Life insurance question - any agents out there?

Hi buddies,

Hoping someone can answer this. I would like to purchase a life insurance policy and they mentioned that someone would come to my home to give me a brief exam and take blood and urine.

Any idea what they would check for in blood and urine? Would they check for drugs (i.e. valium)? And if so, would that be an issue?

Thanks in advance

My daughter works  in insurance uses her law degree, to help write "the fine print". We are not in the U.S. but were going to get some LI , & here can just get over the phone, with a medical quiz it was  called "Real Insurance ", think a sth African  mob . Well in their TV ad L I it was  advertised as low price but the actual price was expensive . My daughter said they do not want people with "terminal illness es "lying about it in the medical quiz . I ask how do they find out if you have lied, she said they look up the medical records when a claim is made. I am sure the agent would come to your home.

Insurance is like a casino "the house" or insurance co, never loses. Warren Buffett has one of the  biggest underwriters of insurance companies  in the world .

Anyway good luck with it.

Hi Workin....

Yep me.. though retired.  Everything is checked... From cholesterol levels, tobacco use, drug use, indicators for heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, liver problems, blood diseases, etc....  No problem with the valium,  just be very honest in all answers for the application. You'll be fine.

I haven't thought about this yet. Sadly, Iwonder if Ishould find life insurance so my familly isn't left with a bill and thrown into povertyif in case things don't go right for me.

I want to live. I will fight but sometimes I wonder what will become of me :(
