mpslgirl, I guess this is more about quotes than good old sayings but still, I really like the Liz Taylor quote in your signature.  She was one great gal, I liked her personality as much as her work.  And here's a great quote from someone else I admire, Rose Kennedy:

 

"If you can keep your head about you when all about you are losing theirs, it's just possible you haven't grasped the situation".
