I just got a Fitbit last weekend and am trying to motivate myself to start walking more. Only I need some benzo withdrawal companionship.

 

Are there any Fitbit users on this forum?

Hi 0703,

 

It's a pedometer type thingy that you clip on your belt or pants or bra or whatever. It tracks per day: steps walked, staircases climbed, calories burned, activity level, etc.. There's a whole website devoted to it. It syncs with your computer or cell phone so that your computer can do all the calculations and stuff.

 

I've lost 5 lbs so far just because I wear it everyday and it's always staring me in the face saying "Go do some exercise, lazy butt!" ;)
