New weightloss procedure.

There was a doctor on Dr oz show talking about a new procedure for weight loss.He injects botox into patients stomaches to cause them to absorb less food.This is terrible.

Its amazing. On tv and in magazines, on the internet, we are bombarded with ads for fattening foods, then we all obsess about being fat.

I WAS fat. 292 lbs. Had a roux-N-Y (the BIG gastric bypass) in 2003. I was also on Klonapin, Ambien, 2 ADs and self-medicating with a lot of alcohol at the time. My recovery was slow and difficult. I have had many problems since then, including not being able to eat enough! I am down to 96 lbs now, way too thin. If I could go back in time, I would have the LapBand, its much safer, and isnt a malabsorptive surgery. Its also reversible.

The thing I wonder about is....were some of the problems I had after surgery due to the surgery....or the drugs? Its all so messed up. My doctors- none of them - seem to make any connection to the benzo and Z drug. I guess they think I am anorexic...? And even that, I am not sure of now!

These doctors scare me.from this point on I will always be caucious of them.Never again,even if they give me an asprin,I will question it.
