Staffy, Thanks so much.  Yes the furrowed brow is interesting and I find it so cool that I thought of this breed when I saw her also.  I can maybe find a pic of all the pups as they do not all look like her.  Some have clear boxer markings.  I love the color of this pups coat.  I called it fawn but not sure if that is the correct term.  She shows no brindle to me.  Thanks again.........

Love all the pics of the dogs.  I have had dogs all my life but do not know how to post the pics so will just enjoy yours.  I rescued a Keeshound. My girlfriend and I were standing there and the dog ran straight to me.  So I had to take her.  Lovely dog.

Where are the dog pics? David, Where is Nina?  Staffy,.. Where are your posts?  I will be posting a few to keep the thread going as we love our dogs.  I am thinking to take a few of Kiwi outside tomorrow in my yard by the banana tree and the Japanese plum and orange and lemon trees.  That should make out to be some good pics.

Nina's in her cage (always unlocked) been too busy for any good pictures, will try some soon.

 

I have tangerine trees, my neighbour grows Lemons and Yuzu  to sell. There is a banana tree but the fruit only gets to be about two inches long, the season is not long enough and the trees almost die away in the winter. Can you grow grapefruit? Look forward to Kiwi pics. Dd.

Thanks, DD.  I do dread the day my kiwi takes her last breath.    I am just so incredibly attached to her and love her so much.  I don't know what I would do without her in my life.  I hope she comes to heaven with me.  Maby your dog you lost will be in heaven with you!.

The banana tree in my yard only grows bananas about 2 inches long as well.  I suppose since it is winter.  I didn't think about that.  I would be taking pictures of my dog in front of half dead trees.    Well.. I suppose the citrus trees are still green.  I will have to see tomorrow.

 

I have not tried to grow grapefruit here, so I don't know.  I do know that Japan is almost the same latitude or is it longitude as Louisiana so it is almost the same climate here as there.

Here's my girl 'Lily Bet' she was the runt of an unwanted litter, this is her 'Take me for a Walk NOW' look, she has a very expressive face and really 'talks' with it..... she is right at the lower end of the breed standard, so a mini tank on legs.

This was after we first adopted Jack, it seems he didn't like the 'doggy door' and proceeded to chew through the reinforced steel my husband placed around the outer edges.... We refer to them as 'The Stafford Wrecking Crew', this was the 4th doggy door in 2 weeks.

 

Look at his reflection in the door on the floor - the other two are like Who Us?

Fat Flea doing what she does best relaxing, this dog knows the true art of 'zen', her tongue is actually a little too long for her mouth so at all times she has this tiny bit that sticks out, it's adorable.

Thanks for the comments   Always love it when I can give someone a smile or laugh, all you need to do is save that pic from directly on here, just right click and use 'save as' - you can give it any name you like, then email it to him.

 

We named our home 'The Stafford Ranch' when we moved here, because the house is 'ranch' style, that's our 'zen' area at the back of the home, it has a spa at the other end, which mind you the dogs jump into, and some other 'unique' properties to it. 

 

The place was ramshackle when we purchased it, really run down and filthy, but I could see the potential and put a deposit on it without hubby even knowing.  But I guess that's another story for a different thread.  Fat Flea is indeed the queen of 'Zen'.
