Unbelievably huge!

Yes this is a Pyrenees Mountain Dog, they are very unique in that they have 6 back toes and originally come from the mountain district that separates France from Spain.  They are beautiful dogs, I have only ever met one myself, and he was huge and likeable, but pretty headstrong.

My son's new puppy; my "grand-puppy".  I went to visit the other day.  This is a pic of her sleeping on my lap.

She is half boxer.  Do not know what other half is. Any thoughts?  She is so sweet & sensitive.

Moe!  That is too cute.  Kiwi likes to nap in the cat's bed with them. 

I'll have to get a pic of that.  He stuffed his whole body in that tiny dog bed. lol

She is half boxer.  Do not know what other half is. Any thoughts?  She is so sweet & sensitive.

 

Looks like the other half might be ether lab or boxer or golden retriever.  Not for 100% sure though.

She is a love.  A very gentle & sweet personality.  Extremely sensitive also. I wish she and my son of course lived closer.  I would be over there cuddling her more.

If I had to take a guess I'd say Rhodesian Ridgeback, same ears, largish paws.  Does she have a furrowed brow?  and believe it or not they come with or without the ridge.  Any sign of a ridge on her?

 

I'll post up a pic of some Ridgey Pups shortly as I am currently downloading my True Blood for tonight.

Staffy, so funny you should say that!  yes she has a wrinkly brow; so cute.  Her coat is the most beautiful "fawn" color I likened it to a palomino horse but I noticed a slight color difference going down her back and said hmmmm; I wonder.  And that is exactly the breed I thought of but the hairs weren't sticking up on the back.  She has some black hairs on the ears so I think the ears will darken.  I saw all the pups in the litter in a pic and many have the color and markings of a full bred boxer but the owners say the father is a "fence jumper' (my words).  I think they hinted to my son could be pit bull but they just don't know.  I can see her nose is not full bred boxer nose.  She is a real sweetie.  Very timid ; does not like loud noises etc.  But loved me when I talked to her and cuddled her she just fell in love with me.  She loves my son and wags her tail.  I will see if there is a pic of her back.

Hi Flutter

 

She is really cute, def looks like Ridgey/Boxer to me, here's a pic of a 5 month old Ridgey pup, who has just started to 'bleed' his ridge, often at first it just looks like their hackles are raised or their coat colour is changing, the furrowed brow a dead giveaway, lovely breed of dog and very intelligent and sweet.
