I haven't watched Boardwalk Empire but am really looking forward to the next season of Downton Abbey.  Also Game of Thrones.

Anyone watching the Spanidh equivalent of Downton Abbey called Gran Hotel (set in Santander)? Beautifully made - it's showing on Sky Arts 2 here in UK, with subtitles

I was going to steam Downtown Abby from Netflix to my home theater, but have been in a major cog fog for over a month & mostly listening to music & rockudramas/documentaries.

 

They don't require too much concentration to follow. Don't know Boardwalk Empire.

 

slight subject change from Abby & certainly different, old series: " To the manor born" & Fawlty Towers.

Its all about a wealthy aristocratic family that live  in a majestic English country estate . The servants and all about the relationships betweeen all the people . Its very intriguing and always some surprises. Shirley Maclaine is coming on this season. I love the clothes  and settings, as I am in the antique and art business. I also furnish clothes and accessories for  TV and some movies. and also did coats for a NYC opera.

We have a new drama series that started yesterday - "Mr Selfridge". It is about the American who came to London and founded the Selfridges department store in London's Oxford Street in 1909. The first episode very promising.

I am currently in mourning as I watched the whole of series 3 of Downton in 3 nights and now I have nothing to watch.. :'(

 

What channel is that on?  I'm in Ireland and can get most channels..

I watched all the Downton Abbey ones + the Christmas one (that wasn't Christmassy at all!). Can't wait for the next series.
