Do you find with age that you lose the courage you once had.

When I was a young man, I thought I was invincible.  Very little scared me -- some things I should have been terrified of if I had any sense.

I'm now an old man; and I seem to have lost that courage.  Some I attribute to the wisdom of age.  I just don't know where my backbone went.

Have others experienced similar decline in courage with age?

I'm definitely up there in age, but I'm actually getting stronger because I'm more spiritually awake than when I was young.  Sure, youth has its advantages, but in withdrawal understanding and patience count the most for me.

I think I am actually stronger now because I have survived this withdrawal process.  I certainly don't sweat the small stuff any more.

It seems the answers to your question that were positive are people who are done tapering and have mostly healed,  doesn't that give us something wonderful to look forward to.
