Hi Jackie,

I love Seabiscuit. I must dig that out and watch it again !

I mainly watch light hearted films at the moment :Love Actually, As good as it gets, Somethings gotta give, The Holiday, Bridget jones diary, Pretty woman, Notting Hill. While you were sleeping... these come to mind.

arafurapearl - that reminds me - Klaus Kinski was in that film.

I loved Fitzcarraldo  (where he was taking opera up the Amazon).

Burden of Dreams was a documentary about the making of Fitzcarraldo. Fascinating.

Benjamin Button, Forrest Gump, As Good as it Gets

Writer,

Loved "As good as it gets." not so much Benjamin Button. Both my son and I were surprised how much we didn't like it. :(

Did you see "Big Red Fish". Unusual flick :)

I'm glad to hear you like Finding Nemo. Mostly, I hope you liked Dorrie because if you didn't like her then you couldn't ever possibly like me.

Who doesn't love Doree? I love Ellen too...:) and all of the Finding Nemo Characters.

I have a story about Finding Nemo. I was at the dentist for a crown and it was one of my first panic attacks out. I used to love going to the dentist, but this is when the AD had turned on me and was causing anxiety and panic. I llove our dentist and had been going there for well over 10 years, maybe even 15.  There would be fun banter while I was there, in fact I would always apologize for jabbering while he was trying to work, and he was like you are the happiest patient.  ;D

This one time, however, I had a death grip on the dental chair and I had picked out a movie to watch that caused me more anxiety and tears were streaming down my face and my eyes looked wild in the reflection. It was so uncomfortable but I was already numb and he had already started. They changed the movie to Finding Nemo...and although I still felt panicy, it did lighten the energy in the room. I have watched it many times during my taper. Its my copy for my room. :)

So of course I love Finding Nemo...and I love you too...why are you a clown fish? tee hee

xoxo

I love your writing, sarahnorrisgurl. You have such talent. Do you even know that about yourself? I felt like I was at the dentist with you when I read your story.  :therethere:  I surely hope the "little evil girl with the braces" scene was cut from the movie while you watched. ;)

Really, you should try writing sometime for real. As is $$ for real. No joke.
