Hi All,

 

Since my benzo journey commenced my music has become even more important to me.  I have a few songs that instantly 'do it' for me in terms of helping me calm down and realise that one day this will all be over.  Thought it might be fun for everyone to list their Top 5 (while in benzo withdrawal) as I know mine has changed with the journey.  Maybe a quick why could be included too;

 

Dream by Priscilla Ahn - Dreaming I will be better one day.

 

Try by Pink - Makes me want to keep trying, very motivational, just try, try, try.

 

Ride by Lana Del Rey - Love the lyric 'I am so tired of feeling *ucking crazy'.

 

Dark Black by Kristina Train - Lyrics about the colours of life.

Not only motivating in getting through withdrawal, but also motivating in putting effort into living and improving myself.

 

I cannot post the other four because the mods do not like vulgarity (the song titles are raunchy).
