I think my own favorite
is probably Gary Oldman
in Francis Ford Coppola's 1992 production,
Bram Stoker's Dracula.

But a very close second would have to be Christopher Lee
in Hammer Films' 1958 version, The Horror of Dracula,
which costars Peter Cushing as Dr. VanHelsing.

Every woman who has a cat also has a favorite vampire.
This we know, and there's no point denying it.
There being such an unusually large number of Cat Women
here at BB, I thought I'd get this topic up and running -
then just fly off into the night.

Okay, honest, I'm not into vampires but after questioning my son on this he would like to weigh in.

His favorite is Jessica on True Blood.  (apparently that is a undead?)

Oh yeah, man, she's, like, the undeadest.

I really don't like vampires that much either.

I just started this to lure all the Cat Women here.

Yeah.

Oh gosh ... what is a Cat Woman?  I still don't know the difference between dead and undead and I'm okay with that unless you want to explain.

Well, I gather vampires are undead, in that they're not really alive any more, but they aren't really dead either.

But of course, there are dead vampires. If you drive a stake through... well, you know. Then they die, and they are dead.

Dead is usually considered an improvement over undead, though one doesn't dance as well.

Vampira, just because she had the most amazing, itty-bitty, waist.

And I can't believe no one has mentioned the Lost Boys yet. Hello!

Kiefer Sutherland could bite my neck ANYTIME.  Never saw "fright night".  Wasn't Chris Sarondon the wife in "Dog Day Afternoon"?  He was excellent in that and very cute.

Have to go with Blade (Wesley Snipes) on this one.  Half vamp, half human (gross, I know) ...is able to walk in the sunshine, kills the mean vamps with mad fighting skills and takes injections rather than biting some poor, unsuspecting human, dog or rat  ;D  ...plus he has awesome ink in the movies.

taxes ...what taxes?  and where did Wesley run off to? lol
