What is your NewYears Resolution

Hello BB Friends  thought i would start this thread and see what you all are going to embark on for newyears..mine is to quit smoking..i would like to find out if there are others who are doing the same thing maybe we can encourage one another on our smokefree journeys if interested please let me know..

Mine is to get healthier.  Eat healthier, get stronger, all the things we want to do every year but this year it's more importatnt than ever.  Last year didn't live up to my expectations.

I'm with ya, Hope....I'm cutting out all the crap..The caffeine is gonna go and the sugary treats and the crisps and I'm gonna start running again.....Off with the old and on with the new!

Move more and exercise, even if it's just regular walks.  Get and stay organized.  Lose 30 lbs.  You know, the usual.

Well I always say quit smoking, but never do. So I'm not going to say that.

I think I will try to take a breath before reacting,

Save money.

Make time to enjoy something everyday, no matter how small.

                   sounds all too familier too me... as for the smoking well I gave that up 3 years ago..went cold turkey(ouch that hurt)

    My plans are almost the same..lose weight .get healthy and strong and kick benzos outta my life...its gonna be a great year.

To be honest I usually avoid any "resolutions" because what's the point...I NEVER do them...

 

But this year has really pushed me to think and ponder more....so I am going to try not to be so self-centered.  It's NOT all about me and it's time I grow up and start to live for others and not myself!!!!

 

Gonna be tough to change a 46 year habit, but if Sherry can quit smoking, I can do this

In the year 2015 I plan to get healthier and to become tidier. While on these drugs and during w/d,

I got so slovenly.

my 2015 resolution is to stop smoking & stop carrying the xanax bottle everywhere with me even though its been 3 1/2 months since i quit xanax

Mine is to get myself back in good physical shape now that I'm able to do that.
