I love that movie! So moving. I watched it once in withdrawal and it scared me a little, but I still enjoyed it. Probably not the best movie for someone who is having fear as a symptom or is worried they're going crazy, though. I like that there are so many ways to look at the story and it always makes me think. It really is a masterpiece, so perfectly put together. Have you seen the sequel? I wonder if it's any good.

I love Donnie Darko..it's one of my favorite movies of all time if not my #1 favorite movie.  I watched it when I was on benzos but I think I'd still appreciate it being off now.  Trippy movie, really good story.  It had a real surreal vibe to it

I refuse to watch the "sequel" as apparently it is so bad and ruins the first...

 

Donnie Darko completely blew me away, i just think it is a great film, very unique and just stuck in my mind for weeks afterwards.

 

I even love the music, it´s just a great, great film.
