Cannot play online poker for a while

As I have gotten into the tapering process and am experiencing withdrawals, playing online poker has become my biggest anxiety trigger.

 

I am actually playing WAY better than before I started the taper and am winning much more in a shorter period of time, but the anxiety induced before and after playing has caused me to abstain from all things poker until I get leveled out.

 

I would start out playing, not being able to hardly think with immense cold chills, shivering, and an irrational fear. When I am done, I feel extremely depressed, anxious, and worn out, regardless of winning or losing and the fact that I played well.

 

This sucks.

 

Does anyone else have hobbies they had to put off? If so, what were they?

I gamble myself morrowcosom.  When my sx arn't too bad I go to the casino and play black jack.  I know what you mean.  The ups and downs of gambling are already prety high but while going through withdrawal they can be too much.

 

Hang in there though.  There are many other hobbies like sports or school that I had to pull back on.
