Is anyone interested in trying out this game? Or is it likely to interfere with the natural posting sequence too much?

 

It's a combination of guesswork and analysis of timing etc of posts.

 

Guesstimate: Game 1.

How many new replies will there have been within 24 hours, from the time of posting the game, to the following threads?

 

1. Under 'Chewing the Fat' 'I'm speculating; curious; is this.... 

Currently 45 replies.

 

2. Under  'Off Topic'  'Insomniac Pop Quizz'

Currently 8684  replies.

 

3. Under 'Withdrawal and recovery support' 'For those with thyroid issues'

Currently 6 replies

Obvious rules:

1. Any postings on relevant thread by a participant don't count.

2. No posts within 4 hours of end time relevant.

    Any others??

 

Possible problems:

1. Could distort natural posting pattern on relevant threads for duration of game?

    Other poss. problems???

 

Possible advantages:

2. Could easily be continued by players.

3. Plenty of time to think. No rush to post  entry

What an effort for a silly game.

It's much easier than it sounds to just play. 

The small amount of concentration needed to play could help withdrawal.
