[...] Posted January 18, 2013 Share Posted January 18, 2013 Morning Carol We have snow here and it will get worse, can you explain how my Sweep can find my hair bands that are small, he seems to have a sense of smell for them it is so bizarre. I have never known a cat to be like it. I even caught him with the handle of my window in his mouth yesterday, he loves jumping up at the keys that are dangling in the door, I have to wear 2 pairs of glasses one for reading the other when I am not, I have had to alternate putting them on top of my head as I tried putting a pair on one of those string things, only to have him trying to play with it. I ran around the house with a string and Sassy just attacked it like crazy. it 2:27 am here..not good morning yet for me. Hope I sleep soon. I am not good at all I hope no one is reading this I feel that I will have to hold for a few days after tonight's dose . Our next door neighbours had a cat called Smokey same colour as yours. I shall have to take a photo of the toilet rolls that Sweep has chewed at, plus boxes and he loves spiting it out, he keeps pinching my tin foil out of my kitchen he is a devil. The one with the black/grey face is princess, The one that is lazy is smokey and the other one is a male from the same litter as princess and he is so sweet. He was getting into the toilet paper as I went in with the cameraphone I let him do it for the pictures. i am sure glad we don't buy the expensive toilet paper. I don't know if you have read this my sister had a she cat called Tilley and when I went to see her I looked at Tilley and said to her that Tilley is a cat with a Willy and I was right, when she took Tilley the next time to the vet it was confirmed that she was a he, but they still called him Tilley. She could not understand how I could tell I still think that you can tell what sex a cat is not when they are first born but when they get bigger. I can always tell from the moment they are born. It really isn't hard to tell. They ether have a little red thing that kind of pokes out like a cone for male and the females don't have that. [...] Posted January 28, 2013 Share Posted January 28, 2013 Sooty and Sweep were born sometime in May 2012 so we gave them the 14th May as their birthdate, Sweep has always been bigger than Sooty, mind you he does finish off Sooty's food. . Another few months and they will be on adult cat food, I bet when Lucy was little there was no such thing as kitten food, there certainly was none 25 years ago when we had our 4. They know how to make money here in the U.K you van only get kitten food in pouches, which is twice the price as canned. I don't know what is going to happen when they get to adults as I it is recommended they need feeding less often but the same amount, need to check it out. I spoil them but not through food, they have a menu so that they don't have the same flavour to often, they do not like trout. tuna, cod, sardine, white fish yes but not trout, so I have taken the packs out and given them to the cat's home, I am sure one of the cats will eat them.
