Reminds me of a joke.  This old lady goes in to see the doctor about her farting problem.  "But", she tells the dr, "it's not that bad because they don't make any noise and they don't stink".

 

So, he checks her out and writes her an Rx and tells her "first, we'll work on the nasal congestion problem and then on your hearing"..... :o

Elwood...just like true insanity, a person does not realize he has crapophilla.  He may just find himself avoiding outhouses and gas station restrooms.  Not to worry as it is not fatal.  You will just be 'full of it' for the rest of your life.

This started off with a serious withdrawal question and then seriously moved off topic, which is why I moved this thread here.

 

Now it is beyond good taste and I will ask everyone to stop posting here and just let this thread die. I can see no purpose in it or its content.  If this continues I will lock this thread.

So let's return to the original subject.

 

I have had problems in the past with thinking I was passing gas and finding out that wasn't all.  This was always during w/d when my anxiety was bad.  It was a tad bit embarrassing and hard to get used to.  It went away after a while but I never did....

Im sure if journey knew how much joy her thread made for so many of us clearly sick individuals she would know that in no way were we disrespecting her serious question it quickly went downhill fast but not at her expense at all.  She is much appreciated but there was only so much one could do to stay serious so I want to thank Journey for making yesterday the first day in 13 months that I have actually laughed out loud for real and by no means at her expense but for the true comradeship of bb uniting in fun for once.  I think its a shame that only misery seems to be approved of here and whenever something fun starts to happen people think its a bad thing and its quickly turned into something negative.  A real shame actually

Nope...no benzos that I know of.  She started out eating throw pills, then upgraded to bed pillows and now eats three pounds of sofa cushions a day.

I do understand the fun you are having with this thread.  We certainly can use some comic relief during this difficult process.

 

My problem is that some members may become offended so please keep the more graphic comments off the thread.

 

I know before I joined Benzo Buddies I read every Board. I am not sure I would have joined had I read this thread as I was in the deepest, darkest place at that time and needed serious validation.

I have seen that episode of that weird obsession show..it is quiet disturbing....I'm not sure if I like the direction TLC has taken with their programming...I find a lot of it really out there and kind of disturbing and scary.

I don't know about most of you out there but I certainly wouldn't want to see myself with my p/t w/d symptoms and issues I suffer from, plastered all over a television. I kind of feel sorry for these people with these mental health issues that TLC seems to exploit. I don't really think bringing media attention like this to weird obsessions and hoarding is a solution to their problems, I think it is causing them more harm then good. Sorry to be off topic..but I am not a big fan of this type of programming...I find it very degrading to the individual who is suffering and its quite awful to watch.
