Hi Flip,

Yes 8 'reasonable' ones and 5 'more difficult' =13

I was counting ropable with and without an 'e' as two .

Let me know when you give up. ;D

HOWEVER

This is where it can become silly.

groper and roper have 2 'r's so they're out.

Yes gaper and leaper are in my dictionary but loper is not.

gaper as a 'burrowing mollusc', 'leaper' as a derivative of verb leap.

However my ruling ;)

There seems to be no logic that supports leaper as a derivative of the verb leap

but disallows loper as a derivative of the verb lope.

So for the purpose of this game.

loper is allowed.

Jeez, Margo! What's a porbeagle? Is it like poor beagle?  I've never even heard that word and am with Dave, you find some great words! I may have to improve my vocabulary or you won't hang out with me when we are old.  :D

Yep, Dave, you're right - 2 Rs. I am ready to give up on game 4.  :-[ I can't find any more.

Hi Here's

Game 5

Find as many words as you can from these nine letters.

Each word must be at least four letters long and must contain the 'hub' letter. In this case 'V'.

Letters given can only be used once in each word. i.e. in each word, 'E' can be used up to twice, but the others can be used only once.

You cannot use plurals, foreign words or 'proper' nouns but verb forms ending in 's' are allowed.

Both English or American spellings are allowed but NOT of the same word.

There is at least one nine letter word.

Abbreviations don't count.

'Urban Dictionary' words, slang and exclamations are NOT encouraged.

Game 5 -    The target in this case is 40+ words.

Please read the rules
