Game 199

ALL MEMBERS OF THE FORUM ARE WELCOME TO PLAY.

Find as many words as you can from the nine letters given.

Each word must be at least four letters long and must contain the 'RED' letter, in this game letter  'T'. Letters given can only be used once in the game unless, of course, they are given more than once. So, 'A' and 'T' can be used twice in this game. You cannot use plurals, foreign words or 'proper' nouns but verb forms ending in 's' are allowed.

Both English or American spellings are allowed but NOT of the same word in one game.

There is at least one nine letter word.

Abbreviations and acronyms may count, at discretion.

'Urban Dictionary' words, slang and exclamations are NOT encouraged.

More unusual medical, 'specialised' scientific/technical and 'adopted' foreign words may/may not be acceptable at discretion.

Words must be in either the Oxford, Collins or Chambers English Dictionaries.

Please don't 'modify' posts to add words to your quota. Post further words in new posts.

It is easy to miss words when posts are modified.

Please read the rules.

Game 199. The target in this game is 25+ words.

pitta  (as in bread)

I've allowed 'pita' which the dictionary says is an alternative spelling of 'pitta' so I don't think we can allow both Carlton. What do you think? :-\
