Something "Special" to share with you...

Many years ago, I found this wonderful poem, it was through a trying time with what I was going through. Firstly my health, I was put on Valium, had no idea (like so many), then my cousin's passing, then the loss of my wonderful dogs, my beloved Sheltie's, Cody and Scarlet..  Now on this site, for my hubby, going through all from benzos...  I've read so many times with so many, the  feeling one has loss living "life", the grief of it all... So this is what I wanted to share, it truly applies to what ever one is going through, especially benzo wd:

 

 

 

There is no right way To grieve -

 

There is just Your way.

 

It will take

 

As long as it takes,

 

But out of your loss Is an interconnectedness

 

With all humanity -

 

For you are One with everyone Who has ever mourned,

 

Judge not

 

The appearance of this loss.

 

Beyond the darkest cloud of the Winter chill

 

Is a Springtime begging to burst forth.

 

Out of your yearning for comfort, calm, growth and belief,

 

Out of an aching void, comes divine mystical force.

 

It longs to thaw the frozen Winter of your Grief

 

Into a holy instant of Springtime - of

 

Harmony, creativity, and the opportunity to once again

 

Master your life,

 

And you will have stopped asking
