I live near Phoenix, so I'm rather jealous of your snow. ;)  However, I have had the Denver experience.  On my last visit to Denver there was a blizzard the night before we were supposed to leave, which was on a Tuesday.  The airport was closed in for a few days and we were unable to fly out until Saturday.  The best thing that came out of it was killing time with a great shopping trip to that mall in Boulder!

Crasy weather we have in Colorado..last week it was in the high fifties and now this. This morning we had 15 inches of snow and still snowing. The airport cancel 600 fligths...crasy. Glad you enjoy your shopping trip..I love that Mall.
