Anybody thinking of starting a new career after withdrawal?

I haven't worked in several years, but plan on taking some online classes once I get off of benzos and hopefully getting a job in the industry I used to be in (i.e., software developing).

Sincerely,

I want to write, and I want to take the next level of Reiki.  I have my level 1, but I'd like to go for 2 and 3 and possibly work out of my home with it.  I have used self-Reiki during my healing and feel it does help.

I also want to consider using my college background and getting into SOME form of counselling.

Who knows what the future holds!

Excited to find out.

I don't know about a new career, I would like to feel more like practicing.  My body sxs make it hard to sit and practice for long periods of time.

I still am committed to somehow bringing attention to benzo withdrawal and helping others. Its too important to just walk away after I am healed.

Are you thinking of a new career, Christopher??

I am not changing my career, but within it, I am really already focusing most on what I want to do more than what I "should" do, when there are decisions I can make about my activities.

I am also increasing my avocational activities - or at least am planning to.

I think the change is in my attitude, which may just be a career change of of evaluating importance...

I was working in film/television, but that has been put on hold while I recover. I was hoping to keep doing that and maybe go back to college in the hopes of helping others, maybe teaching or something. Not really sure :)
