Wayy back when this thread was young(er) I suggested Yul Brynner - to which Marnie posted a very hot photo of the man!

 

I was looking at this thread last night and thinking if there was anyone else, and then I remembered - of course!!  Well he doesn't actually make my heart do anything funny, but he is one of the sharpest, wittiest, cleverest, most entertaining people I could ever imagine encountering.  He wrote me a letter once, in response to one I wrote him.  Marnie - got any nice pics of Stephen Fry?  Yes, yes I know he is gay and all that.. but still... if I could share a glass of good red wine with anyone - I think it'd be him 

 

Oh and might as well stick Hugh Laurie in there somewhere - and Rowan Atkinson as the black-leathered Elizabethan Blackadder

Sarah Palin may be a "babe" but she is a frightening prospect as Vice-President or President of the United States because of her extremist right-wing religious beliefs. I know this is not a political thread but I hope to god that any American carefully scrutinizes her political record and does not vote for her simply because she is a "babe" or a "hockey mom". The potential leader of the United States requires a helluva lot more than that.
