I hope this will post. There is a warning telling me that the topic has not been posted in for at least 120 days and to consider starting a new topic.

 

This collection, even though many of the images have gone missing, just seems to valuable.

 

I did not see Robert Downey Jr. in here, and while I put Johnny Depp right there next to him in my book, it's a toss up... no, that's not true, I think I'd go for R.D.J. over J.D.

 

I noticed that Marnie stopped posting on the thread and Lynnie picked up in adding many photos for people, but that was a while back... Either way.... I hope this renews this "important" thread, by my making a post here.

That's so funny that you just posted a pic of RDJ.  I was watching Iron Man II yesterday afternoon (hubby's choice, not mine) and commented on what a handsome guy he was.  Hubby didn't mind, I comment on women that I think are beautiful, however he doesn't do the same about men and I got a, "I'm a guy, but yeah I guess he's good looking".  Because of RDJ's issues over the years I forgot how handsome he was and I think he's gotten better looking as he's grown older (and cleaned up his act).

 

Well, anyway, thanks for posting the pic - I enjoyed it!

Amano, the photo you have on your blog space looks like a whacked out version of Benecio Del Toro in a combined version of himself from all the movies he's ever been in (which include some crazy roles), including his most recent when he turns into a werewolf. He's not a bad looking guy at all, really, sort of a dark-haired version of Brad Pitt with some Tom Waits thrown in for good measure.

I couldn't help but laugh when I read that!  Because his avatar really does look like a hung over Benecio!  And it is funny that you bring up him looking like Brad Pitt.  My mother liked Brad Pitt but didn't know who Benecio was... but when I saw a picture of him I thought he kinda looked like Brad Pitt (it wasn't a flattering picture either).  I showed it to my mom telling her it was a recent picture of Brad Pitt and she was kind of shocked and said he wasn't aging very well    

 

Oh as for me... well my first celeb crush was on this woman... and it started in 7th grade.  The Today show was always on in the mornings and I always caught a glimpse of her before heading off to school.

It's nice to have an exchange with you here, too, since we haven't really met either, but I have read several of your thoughtful and supportive posts to mutual buddies. Nice to meet you.

 

Do you recall that Brad and Benecio were in the movie "Snatch" together back a few years ago. I think Brad has wanted to play down his pretty boy looks and has had to have seen the similarities in B.E.T. himself and tried look more like him.  It's a theory anyway.

 

Katie Couric; yeah, I can see how she would create a crush in a young boy's heart. She is a lovely human being.

 

Kat, that's wonderful that your husband calls you beautiful everyday and tells you he loves you, and that your heart goes pitter patter for him after 42 years of marriage! Congratulations to you both. I am going to have to tell my darling spousal unit that the word "beautiful" needs to be a part of whenever he tells me he loves me each day.  I still feel the pitter patter for him, too.
