60 seconds of joy mid withdrawal

Last night as I was dragging myself to bed my son said something so funny and dear to me and for the first time in years I felt complete joy. I felt clear headed and I felt like myself. Although it did literally last one minute, it gave me hope. And at the end of the day, that is the most powerful thing on my side as I struggle with the sickness of this withdrawal. HOPE-- it's a beautiful thing!

 

I wish for all us, many moments of joy in the future!

 

Minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day....
