Muscle Weakness and Klonopin

Greetings,

 

Has anyone had extreme muscle weakness while on Klonopin?  That is one of the pervading side effects I have battled almost the entire time of being on it.

Absolutely-YES! I started having it 2 years after I started klonopin and it got so bad in the 7th year that it was one of the main reasons I wanted off- muscle weakness coupled with severe fatigue. I still have the muscle weakness now during my taper, but the fatigue has gotten a little better.

Thanks, Minka.  That is exactly what I have experienced.  I am trying a slow taper but had to "updose" temporarily to alleviate bad w/d sxs.
