Klonopin > Valium Cross Titration

Hi All!

I just wanted to provide a positive update. I had been stuck at .75mg of klonopin for about 2 months and wasn’t having any success reducing from there and was having a really hard time cutting the pills into accurate doses (.5mg pills). I decided to cross over to Valium due to the ability to get smaller dose pills and reduce at a slower/more accurate rate. I know this may not be the experience for everyone but the cross titration for me has been a huge success and I’m so happy I did it. Within a couple of weeks I am down to 10 mg/day of Valium which according to the Ashton manual and other sources, would be equivalent to .5mg of klonopin. So far, I have had no negative side effects with the switch or the reduction. 
 

For anyone who feels “stuck” on their klonopin tapering, it might be something to consider.

Update: down to 8 mg Valium!! Still feeling great
