Hello I’m 4 months out from withdrawal. Anxiety off the charts all day….like a nonstop anxiety attach. Anyone else have that creepy anxiety that is relentless? Oh and I took .5mg klonopin daily for two years. Weaned myself off. Last does was April 7  2025. Thank you so much for reading 😊

I don't know if this will help @[Ro...]. I initially went on these damn pills for anxiety so after stopping them, I was thinking I'm back to full blown anxiety attacks all the time. I wound up having a session with Jennifer Leigh recently to talk about how to deal with my anxiety.  She explained (at least in my case) that it's not actually anxiety. It's when we're in withdrawal, it causes "hyperexcitability" in the CNS which presents itself as anxiety. Our (yours, mine and everyone else here) GABA receptors are trying to readjust to normal without what it is used to from benzos and that causes this hyperexcitability. 

Do you think this might be what you're dealing with as well?
