Lemon baths

Recommended Posts

My functional medical doctor has recommended I take lemon baths before doing energy work. It involves the juice of 3 lemons , which are are left to marinate the added to a warm water bath. Wondering if anyone else has tried this.

I never heard of it but really want to try. To me, it seems to make sense. I like the taste of lemons too and always feel its energy, which i'm  lacking now. Thank you for the idea!)

He's recommended I do it a few times a week to clear toxins. Vitamin C supplements have helped me a lot, I now take 3,000mg a day and I'm still not at bowel tolerance. Dr Sarah Myhill is a big advocate of Vitamin C.

How much C is it possible for the body to absorb?

It's recommended to go to bowel tolerance. You'll know it if it's too high a dose as you'll get lose stools. Dr Sarah MyHill's always banging on about the benefits of high doses of Vitamin C.

It will help more than any medicine. Mostly placebo effect unless your diet is terrible but no side effects and harms from medication. Avoiding harm is great.
