I miss unabated joy

I miss the feeling of being so tired watching TV that I can’t stay awake

I miss walking for 20 minutes without my leg stiffening, my back hurting

I miss waking up with excitement and enthusiasm, ready for a new day without pain

I miss not weighing my daily tapered poison

I miss my child sitting on my lap without my legs tingling after 20 seconds

I miss my old self

I miss my brain, my eyes

Is it all still there? Is it waiting for me on the other side of all this misery?

I miss quiet and calm in my body and my nerves

I miss it

The things that you miss will Come back. It takes time but I was there as well and it seemed like forever. The good news is you heal and you will get back to normal!
