antibiotics?

hello, i am almost one month off of valium, i only used altogether for about 6 months and that was including a 2 month long taper, i have a staph infection right now and have been given Trimethoprim / Sulfamethoxazole, is this safe?

Hello, @[ga...]. I know for sure that "the ones to avoid if possible during withdrawal are Fluoroquinolones. This includes ciprofloxacin (Cipro), gemifloxacin (Factive), levofloxacin (Levaquin), moxifloxacin (Avelox) and ofloxacin (Floxin) and delafloxacin (Baxdela)." I also know that in general, antibiotics can cause bad body reaction but it's not necessary and rather individual.

It's probably much safer than a Staph infection. I've taken antibiotics twice during withdrawl and had bad reactions both times. But it's better than living with a sinus infection for months. Sometimes we must bite the bullet and take our medicine.
